MYRC held another successful School Holiday Program this month with young people getting connected through face to face events as well as online activities and competitions.
We kicked off the school holiday week with an Open Day BBQ which was a delightful experience for the community to reconnect over a yarn, game or two, while enjoying a delicious BBQ of fresh kafta, caramelised onions, hummus and Lebanese bread … mmm, hummus! 🙂
The program continued with a range of activities that showcased participants hidden talents with the likes of Make your move: Games online as well as rolling up the sleeves with the Street Art Workshop and DIY Green tips.
The competition continued to ‘heat up’ with Get it rolling: create your favourite Gozleme and slam dunk Tricks and Flips videos.
Thank you to all the young people who participated in the School Holiday Program. We also like to extend our Thank You to the Inner West Council and Barnardos Australia (Marrickville) for your support and generosity.
Looking forward to another successful School Holiday Program later this year!
